All-purpose cleaner, toilet cleaner, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, a mop or broom, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and basic toiletries give participants the tools to care for themselves and their new environment.

Beyond these essentials, the kits may include small comfort items like a welcome note or a simple decorative touch. While not necessary, these gestures reinforce the message that the resident is valued and their new home matters.
